Linear to me involves mathematics. It’s precision and I picture parallel lines. Musically, these lines could represent stringed instruments. Mathematics can be related to electronics.
I am thinking about an electronic string based outfit. E.L.O. or Electric Light Orchestra seem to fit the electronic sound but possibly with a more distinct string presence. The 80’s synthesizer bands perhaps.
I’m not 100% sure about what you’re asking but that’s the best I can come up with a short notice.
