We’re getting a new roof put on this coming week. What do they usually do if you have a satellite dish?

Because from what limited knowlege I have about how satellite TV works, I do know the satellite has to be pointed in the exactly right position to pick up the signal. How would the roofers know how to do that? Or do we have to call Direct TV (and posibly be charged for them to come out and fix it after the roof is done?) I hope this doesn’t mean we won’t have TV for a week! That would stink. Guess I could read….but there are certain shows I Tivo that I would hate to miss.

If they are GOOD roofer’s, the price of re-aligning should have been included.
OR
If they know how, and many do, they will take the position readings, (compass, azimuth, etc.) and reinstall on the new roof to the same position. They should be able to get within 1/10 of a degree, which is close enough to work unless it was marginal to start with.
