On 1 January 1993, armed with a decree of the Minister of Information No.. 111/1992, SCTV aired nationally. Gradually, gradually, beginning in 1993 through 1998, SCTV move the base of operations for its national broadcast media from Surabaya to Jakarta. Currently, over 47 transmission stations, SCTV capable of reaching 240 cities and reaching approximately more than 175 million potential viewers.
Since January 2005, their change the logo and slogan to “One For All”.
Current headquarters is located in the SCTV Tower, Senayan City, Jalan Asia Afrika Lot 19, Central Jakarta. Before 23 November 2007, SCTV headquarters located at Lot 21 Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. SCTV also has a studio penta in Struggle No Highway. 3-4 Complex Regions RCTI, Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta.
SCTV current ownership group controlled by Crown Eagle Technology through Surya Citra Media (SCM). Since the mid-1990s, which was originally an management with RCTI eventually they split management. Director of SCTV today is Fofo Sariaatmadja.
