Watching World Cup 2010?

Though I subscribe to TimeWarner cable High Speed internet, I don’t have cable TV service. I’d like to know what options are there to watch world cup on TV (TV is connected to a media computer). Things that come to my mind are,

1) Assuming cable channels will cover world cup 2010, could I have cable TV service for just one month without contract?

2) Could I watch world cup online using high speed internet? Preferably it’d better be live stream in HD quality and I am willing to pay for the service. SD quality would be acceptable, though.

3) Would I be able to watch some games over broadcast channels? I have HD TV antenna and live in Los Angeles, CA.

I have seen a lot of online streaming software that claims to have 1000’s of FREE HD Channels… I have personally been using Satellite Direct now for almost a year with good results.

For FIFA 2010, if you can’t get the games for free on the host broadcaster channel online, you can definately find the stream on Satellite Direct.

You can download @ http://www.SateliteDirect.net

Cheers,
Mike
